Helen is an experienced 200 hour certified yoga instructor registered with the Yoga Alliance (E-RYT200).  She has been teaching yoga for over three years throughout Westchester County, New York, and Palm Beach County, Florida where she currently resides.

Helen has taught a variety of different classes and audiences including public studio classes, private individual and group classes, college yoga classes, yoga for sports teams, and yoga at substance abuse treatment centers.  She co-lead a 200 hour teacher training with Renee Diamond (E-RYT500) in 2018.

Helen is passionate about helping people develop healthier relationships with themselves and others through the practice of yoga. She went through her own struggle with substance abuse in her teens, as well as having battled a severe eating disorder in her teens and early twenties.  She has been sober in recovery since 2008 and believes that yoga has played a critical role in changing her unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors.

Helen's classes are thoughtfully put together to help each student mindfully move, connecting their breath with their body.  She believes that yoga should be accessible for everyone, no matter their skill level, spiritual practices or physical limitations.

She is accustomed to working with first timers to develop their own understanding of the ancient practice of yoga, as well as working with advanced yogis to deepen their existing yoga practice.
